Wimbledon-Furniture Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this lovely set of 6 original Gothic / Jacobean hand carved ebonised throne armchairs Please scroll all the way to the bottom of the description for multiple supersized pictures Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, for an accurate quote please let me know A really rare find with the crested Lions flanking a shield type armorial crest, certainly from an English royalist estate, who knows which castle they came from but it would have been a grand affair wherever it was! I have a matching larger Carver throne armchair listed under my other items The condition is good for the period, the upholstery looks original and has a William Morris feel to it, The frames have been deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished, each one has been redowelled as they had play consistent with age, they are good and solid now.
