Set of Six Italian Walnut Rustic Ladder Back Chairs with Playing Card Motif

About the Item

Very unique Italian rustic set of six walnut ladder back chairs; the back slats decorated with carved motifs of the four playing card symbols: clubs (?), diamonds (?), hearts (?), and spades (?). The seats covered in faux straw; the chairs are beautifully proportioned, elegant and with a witty design. Tuscany, Italy, circa 1960 Size: 473/4" high x 18 1/4" seat height x 16" wide x 16" deep.
