About the Item
A set of five Gustavian- style dining chairs, circa 1810, with fantastic potential in any space. The curved backrests feature horizontal reeded texture on the outside and are perfectly balanced on top of the turned spindles. Lambs tongue carving on the apron is interrupted by folate carved joinery dies above tapered, reeded legs. White muslin is fixed to the frames as a temporary cover with visible upholsterers nails, ready for new fabric of your choice or left as is depending on your style. The red ocher finish has gained a wonderful patina over the years. Seat height is 17”. Make sure to view all the detailed images to get a closer look at their current condition.
