A very good looking well made and decorative piece, it is vintage, George Smith make a lot of cool furniture, this one has a floral upholstery that will never go out of fashion as its so English Country House
I have two matching sofas that came with this footstool listed under my other items
The condition is ok for the age, it has normal age and patina marks here and there
