About the Item

THE LINE Foot Stool is beautifuly simple but perfectly designed for stretching your legs out and putting your feet up. It is the reversed V-shaped stool made of the combination of the 200/300-year-old oak and the raw steel. The oak is drummed up from the French, reclaimed beams and undergoes natural drying for around 10 - 15 years in the Cotswalds area in Great Britain. The foot stool's base is treated with an anti rust layer to keep the natural, industrial look of the steel. The stool can also be used as a lamp stand, side table or the perfect object for reaching the highest shelfs in your wardrobe. THE LINE Collection embodies the designer’s motto ‘Minimalism is the Future’. The uncluttered design and clean lines, folded into functional shapes, in a simple but effective way emphasize the beauty and the uniqueness of the natural materials. At Baker Street Boys the craftsmanship is reflected in their ethos: ''Through a minimalist approach we transform the ordinary materials into luxury experience." For the creation of their designs they use skilled craftsmen from south-east Poland known for their exceptional training in both metalwork and woodwork. They cooperate with the local artisans towards whom they have special, emotional attachment as they are from the village where Baker Street Boys' designer, Tomasz Danielec, was born and raised. They source all of the materials from France, Italy, UK, Germany and Poland. For each stool there is the authenticity and product card attached. Numbered and certified. Made in Poland. Made to order.
