About the Item

A rare pair of Gustavian footstools with Stockholm chairmaker’s seal on both. Frames are decorated with upright leaf cut. The corners meet in decorative medallions. The legs are finished with over-collaring atop elongated vertical leaf cut and fluted tapered bases. Meticulously scraped to their original paint and newly reupholstered in linen.
