Børge Mogensen 2254 Oak Lounge Chair and Ottoman

About the Item

Vintage Børge Mogensen model 2254 reclining lounge chair and ottoman designed in 1954 for Fredericia Stolefabrik; this particular chair features the more unusual (and quite lovely) woven cane back rest. The frame was refinished and new high quality rubber webbing was added. The original cushion covers are a thick woven material. They were professionally cleaned and unfortunately shrunk some in the process. This set is also available reupholstered for an additional fee.     Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Cane is all original. Oak frame was refinished. One small dark spot in the wood remains, see photos for details. Webbing was replaced with high quality rubber webbing. Cushion covers shrank some in the professional cleaning process.
