Danish 1940s Pair of Club Chairs in Reddish Leather
About the Item
Fantastic pair of Danish lounge armchairs made by unknown manufacturer around the late 1930's. The chairs have a very edgy and modern look with loose cushions which was not the norm at the time. One is a bit taller than the other (his and hers) which was typically seen in designs in the period after Art Deco. They also have coil springs in the backrest and the seat. Solid and sturdy. The leather does need to get replaced unfortunately, however we offer reupholstery services for these chairs at very competitive prices. The chairs can be reupholstered in any fabric and not just leather.
Please note: The low chair measures 33 inches tall but has the same width and depth as the taller one
