This pair of Danish-made easy chairs is characterized by the best qualities of Danish mid-century design: from the restrained aesthetic to the elegant pairing of materials, these chairs are the perfect examples of how pairing Danish design, the work of a cabinetmaker, and luxurious upholstery create exceptional pieces. This upholstered pair has everything one can expect from Danish modern armchairs: an expressive design, exceptional comfort, attention to details and of course, functionality. The design’s lines are quite pronounced, yet it is also soft and conveys cosiness, which is one of the many ingenious abilities of Danish cabinetmakers. The most apparent design element is the heart shape of the backrests. This playful element and the outward curving armrests create a welcoming impression that is further enhanced by the luxurious sheepskin. The tapered exotic wood legs add modernism to the design, and they prevent the chairs from looking top-heavy. This type of wood is prized for its durability, workability, and elegant look. It has a reddish-brown hue that deepens over time. The grain is straight and uniform, typically with relatively few knots or blemishes and contrasts nicely to the soft, light colour of the upholstery.
