A jaw-dropping restored pair of low-slung walnut loungers, circa 1970. Heavy as lead ash frame exquisitely veneered in walnut; burl accents mark the legs. Unbelievable design and quality. Expert custom upholstery in a stunning neutral Romo crepe fabric. While the chairs are no longer marked, the pair is consistent with the Harvey Probber lounger production of the early 1970s. The Esteemed Mr. Probber designed some of the most cutting-edge loungers of the era. Stunning pieces designed to accent an important space. Excellent restored condition. The chairs have been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered; the walnut demonstrated a fabulous warmth and depth. All veneer is intact and complete. The price listed is for the pair. Expert custom upholstery service is available.
