About the Item
Folding Lounge Chair (1968) by Hans J. Wegner – Mod. AP-71
Designed by the renowned Danish designer Hans J. Wegner in 1968 for A.P. Stolen, the AP-71 is a beautifully detailed and remarkably comfortable folding lounge chair that exemplifies Wegner’s timeless approach to form and function.
Crafted from solid oak, the frame features a rich patina and striking wood grain, highlighting its natural character and age. The chair’s design includes a foldable construction, as well as an adjustable backrest and headrest with three reclining positions, allowing for personalized comfort.
The cushions are newly made and upholstered in a high-quality fabric in light gray, adding a contemporary touch to this mid-century classic.
A rare and functional collector’s piece—perfect for lovers and collectors of Danish modern design.
