About the Item
Beautiful pair of 1940s Scandinavian easy chairs in the style of Finnish Design Icon, Carl-Johan Boman. Very elegant with their distinct shape, playful lines and harmonious proportions. While we found these chairs in Denmark the style is clearly Swedish design judging by the tapered legs made from elm which was more often a material fancied by Swedish makers. The chairs have been reupholstered at a later point in floral wool blend which remains in clean usable condition even if we do recommend having the chairs reupholstered. We are able to offer re-upholstery services on these chairs and can re-cover in lambswool or shearling should you wish. Overall very good vintage condition.
