Rare Danish Easy Lounge Chair in Mahogany Attributed to Otto Færge, 1940's

About the Item

Incredibly comfortable, exuberantly designed large lounge chair. The style is very much that of Otto Færge and true to his style and design proportions that perfectly captures the essence of 1940s Danish design coming out of the Art Deco era and into the early midcentury. A rare find. Curved backrests and low slung proportions on conical feet in stained beech. Still in its original fabric that shows wear and should be replaced. Very good condition solid and sturdy with coil spring in the seat and backrest. We are able to reupholster at very competitive prices and can offer shearling and lambswool and can work with any fabric you may prefer.
