Restored Witco Tiki Carved Wood Frog Ottoman Toad Stool
By William Westenhaver / Witco, Witco
Located in Chattanooga, TN
Jump at the opportunity to own this adorable Witco frog ottoman. This frog foot stool is one of the most rare Witco pieces. Call it what you will, a footstool, or a toad stool. He’s a seat for your bottom or your feet. The tiki inspired frog was carved from a single piece of swamp cedar wood. These Witco foot stools seldom come to market. When they do pop up, they’re battered and tattered. This charming guy is has been beautifully restored. The faux leopard upholstery is new. Mr. Froggy is looking chipper with freshly painted eyes and mouth, matching original spec. Fortunately, he has his original knobby eyeballs. The seat turns so you and Mr. Froggy can keep watch. You’ll have a grin just as big when you make this guy a part of your home. We have several more pieces from Witco including a sofa, dining table with chairs, group of large and small cat figurines, wall mounting shield...

Witco Tiki Mid Century Wood Carved Fireplace Tool Set with Brutalist Accent
By Witco, William Westenhaver / Witco
Located in Chattanooga, TN
An ultra-rare Witco fireplace tool set from the 1960s-70s era, this piece combines sculpted swamp cedar, bold Brutalist metal panels, and original wrought-iron tools for a convergence of carving, utility, and theatrical decor. Measuring approximately 9 inches wide × 7.75 inches deep × 41.5 inches high, it offers commanding vertical presence while remaining slender enough to frame a hearth without intruding. Hand-carved in solid swamp cedar, the rack incorporates Witco’s signature chainsaw tiki carving toward its top and base. On each side sit torch-cut, Brutalist-style metal panels that flank the carved wood, restored to their original look including a verdigris patina, giving contrast to the richness of wood. The set includes original wrought-iron fire tools—a poker, a shovel, and a brush—each bearing period scroll-work that complements the dramatic aesthetic of the rack. Restoration has been both sympathetic and thorough. The metal panels were refinished; rust and oxidization addressed while preserving aged character. The wood displays some light wear and age-appropriate splits in the cedar, marks that speak to its authentic vintage origin. The fire tools show use—some paint loss, light scratching—but are sound and functional. This piece isn’t just functional—it’s decorative storytelling. In interiors that embrace strong material contrasts, wood texture, or mid-century exoticism, it becomes a centerpiece. It pairs beautifully with warm woods, stone, terracotta, tropical plantings, or décor landscapes that welcome dramatic form and texture. Its scale works well beside a large fireplace, on a wall that draws light, or in a lounge where atmosphere is part of the ambience. For collectors of Witco’s iconic carving, mid-century tiki culture, or those who prize sculptural, made-by-hand tools and accents, this fireplace set is rare. It offers history, craft, and the kind of presence that transforms utility into art. Vintage 1960s-1970s, carved from solid swamp cedar wood. If you’re into Tiki, then you probably know Witco. Collector’s adore Witco for it’s wild design. The company went full-force in capturing the zeitgeist of exotica in the 1960s. Polynesian, Asian, and tropical culture and aesthetics began to make their way into American homes. Elvis movies and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific” introduced America to tiki, Mai Tais and Luas. It’s still tiki time in the hearts of Witco collectors. These larger than life cats are the perfect mascot for your island lounge. We have several more pieces from Witco including a pair of Meathead cats, toad stool, a dining set, conquistador chairs, wall mounted...

Tulip Group Lounge Chairs in Rosewood by K M Wilkins for G-Plan of England
By Charles and Ray Eames, Percival Lafer, Thonet, G Plan Furniture
Located in Chattanooga, TN
This exquisite pair of G-Plan “Tulip Group” armchairs, designed by K.M. Wilkins and crafted in rosewood—a notably rare execution for the series—radiates mid-century elegance and organic grace. The “tulip” moniker is more than poetic; the sculptural rosewood panels curve with a subtle bloom-like fluidity that imbues each chair with the quiet lyricism of a flower unfurling. Rooted in provenance, these chairs were originally purchased in Glasgow, Scotland in 1970 and have been meticulously preserved by the original owners. The plush velvet upholstery—an elusive shade hovering between olive green and taupe brown—responds with nuance to shifting light, creating a lustrous interplay as soft and evocative as the wood grain itself. A nod to thoughtful functionality, the chairs glide effortlessly on their original Magnum Orbit chrome...
