Mid-Century Modern vintage lounge chair or armchair from walnut attributed to Oswald Härdtl, Vienna, 1950.
A beautiful freestanding lounge chair from walnut attributed to designs by Oswald Härdtl, which shows a solid walnut wooden construction in a warm organic brown tone and loose cushions for seat and back. The cushions are covered with high-quality linen fabric with floral and lush pattern designed by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn, new made, hand - and custom made in its original shape.
The heart like slightly curved back seat with rods is adjustable in 3 positions from approximate 70.5 cm - 92 cm for the most comfortable use and shows a loose cushion fixed with slings.
This lounge chair adds as a very comfortable and great point into your living room or into the fireplace room as well as so wonderful in your bedroom as reading chair in a cosy corner.
The wooden surface is refinished. The condition of the lounge chair is very good with minor signs of age.
