About the Item
Superbly elegant Finn Juhl style sofa or settee made by Slagelse Mobelvaerk, Denmark sometime in the 1940s. The lines and proportions of this design are just perfection. Slagelse was a manufacturer for Finn Juhl and it often speculated that he had a hand in the design of this sofa - there is no doubt of the strong similarity to some of his known designs. Solid and sturdy raised on beech legs. The fabric was replaced at some point. Still in good condition, however showing showing some signs of wear. We are able to reupholster this piece at a very competitive price to restore it to a more modern look.
