About the Item
A classic small-scale French 19th Century Napoleon III Period loveseat, sofa or settee, circa 1860-1879. The settee offers both comfort and style with graceful and elegant lines exemplified by the Napoleon III Period decor.
Sofa features hand-carved, turned wood, ebonized front legs set into casters, hand-carved rear legs. Upholstered in a dark grey canvas fabric, the upholstery is not new but it is in fare to good condition, still very serviceable. However, one might choose to have it reupholstered.
