Grete Jalk, JH180 Johannes Hansen Sofa

About the Item

A mahogany sofa by Grete Jalk for Johannes Hansen. As far as we know, this is the only design Jalk created for Johannes Hansen. It is a linear and minimalist box style sofa that envelopes one who sits in it. The sofa sits atop solid mahogany legs which are an extension of the angled sides. It is covered in Danish wool which has a textural striped pattern. The construction consists of spring cushions throughout the seat supported by jute webbing which gives a lot of comfort and support. A gorgeous piece that would suit any modern environment.
