The Sternum Rocking Chair, by Internationally renowned Studio Craftsman & Designer David Ebner. Ebner's Rocking Chair was inspired from the sternum bone of the duck, structurally strong and artistically formed. There a numerous pieces using the Sternum or Wishbone design, a few shown here when you click through. David opened his studio in Long Island NY in 1973 his work is represented in a number of major institutions including the National Collection of Fine Art at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC and The American Craft Museum in New York. A leader in his industry, with known collectors of his work such as Isabella Rossellini, William & Elaine de Kooning, Malcolm Morley and many others world wide continue to choose David Ebner's unique designs. David's book "STUDIO FURNITURE" tells it all.
