About the Item

Extraordinary modular sofa from the "Voyage Immobile" collection, designed by Studio Roche Bobois in the 1990s - an iconic piece of contemporary design, now discontinued and highly collectible. The sofa consists of six individual modules: one corner unit, four lounge elements, and one ottoman. Its outstanding versatility allows for endless layout configurations, depending on the space and functional needs. The relaxed yet refined design is paired with high-quality materials, particularly the cotton fabric upholstery created by the iconic French fashion house Kenzo, featuring solid tones enriched by colorful details that lend sophistication and originality. A distinctive feature of this piece is the adjustable backrests, operated by an internal piston mechanism similar to that of the Maralunga sofa by Vico Magistretti for Cassina. These backrests can be raised or lowered to reveal vibrant inner fabric tones, subtly hidden when closed. Matching Kenzo cushions enhance the chromatic richness of the composition. The low structure and soft lines create a welcoming, cocoon-like feeling, further emphasized by wide seats and plush back cushions - ideal for deep relaxation. Perfect for modern and refined interiors, the Voyage Immobile modular system achieves a unique balance between aesthetics and functionality, embodying the timeless appeal of exclusive designer pieces. Please note: This item is in a very good vintage condition. Minor signs of age may be present but do not affect its functionality. We kindly ask you to consider these characteristics prior to purchase. Rare Coupé Bed Frame by Mario Bellini for Cassina, Italy, 1976
By Cassina, Mario Bellini
Located in Conversano, IT
Rare and elegant "Coupé" daybed or bed frame designed by Mario Bellini and produced by Cassina in 1976. This piece features a minimal yet sophisticated structure, defined by soft lines and harmonious proportions. The design conveys a sense of lightness and elegance, with gently curved shapes outlining the headboard and side panels. The structure is upholstered in a light-colored fabric - likely linen or raw cotton - tightly fitted around the frame, highlighting the clean aesthetic. Leather-trimmed seams and exposed zippers serve as both functional and decorative elements, allowing the piece to be disassembled with ease and showcasing its refined craftsmanship. The wavy silhouette of the headboard and sides creates a welcoming, cocoon-like effect, almost embracing the sleeper within. The piece rests on discreet black feet, elevating it just enough to enhance its floating, airy presence. The mattress support consists of a tight mesh metal base, ensuring breathability and ergonomic comfort. It is designed to fit a standard European single mattress (80 × 190 cm). The Coupe bed's clean and timeless design makes it suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors, whether in a bedroom or a sophisticated living area. The name "Coupé" references horse-drawn carriages - reflecting Bellini's desire to link elite design with historical memory and everyday life. The piece will be shipped disassembled to reduce transportation costs. Please note: This item is in a very good vintage condition. Minor signs of age may be present but do not affect its functionality. We kindly ask you to consider these characteristics prior to purchase.
