About the Item

This settee was designed by Frits Henningsen in the 1940s. The simplified lines you'd expect from modern furniture are tempered by rounded forms and curves in Henningsen's design. The settee has been newly reupholstered with a gold-and-black chevron wool from Donghia. Expert piping work elegantly contours and amplifies the sofa's lines. The legs are the original beech wood: tapered at the front and slightly splayed at the back. Dimensions: 48 in. width 27.5 in. depth 30.5 in. overall height 17 in. seat height Condition notes: In very good condition with wear consistent with the settee's age and use, such as minor scuffs to legs. Newly reupholstered.
