Freestanding, Demi-Lune “Komed” Banquette Design by Marc Newson

About the Item

Freestanding, demi-lune banquette designed by Marc Newson, that was 1 of 9 commissioned for Canteen Restaurant in Soho New York. Originally upholstered in brown fabric, this example has been reupholstered in an orange knitted, new-old stock fabric by Racine, a French company that was in operation in the mid 20th century. The banquette is shown with an original Komed table that is also available. Great for residential use in a dining area or nook.
