A 1950s Oak Corkscrew Armchair with Straw Seat attributed to Charles Dudouyt

An armchair designed by the renowned French furniture maker Charles Dudouyt in the 1940s. The chair features Dudouyt’s iconic corkscrew-shaped bobbin turned legs, as well as a rush seat and back. The construction and materials used are characteristic of Dudouyt’s high-quality craftsmanship from the early-to-mid 20th century.
