A rare Syrian side chair of the very finest quality The carcase in solid Sandalwood and rising from gently tapered legs; the carved and pierced back having mashrebeyeh style panels using turned ivory and Sandalwood, with a lobed domed top, surmounted with a delicately carved ivory finial; the whole in the complex geometric abalone and bone micromosaic.
