English 19th century fruitwood chair with a rush seat

About the Item

A sweet English 19th century fruitwood chair with a rush seat. This chair was hand-crafted in England circa 1870 and is just darling with its carved scalloped seat back and warm rush seat which is in great condition. Its chamfered and curved chair legs and wavy front stretcher add so much charm to its design. Straight stretchers run across the other three sides and offer more support. Its lovely honey brown color and rich patina make this a great chair to add to any space. Seat height is 17 ½ inches. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look at this wonderful chair.
