About the Item

Magnificent and rare set of four Vienna Secession side chairs. Design by Jacob and Josef Kohn. Striking Austrian design from the 1900s. Original lacquered beech and bentwood curved frames. Re-upholstered with Backhausen new fabric. Re-upholstered with original new Backhausen fabric. The model of the fabric is Windrad MD588A11 designed by Josef Hoffmann in 1906. This wonderful Vienna Secession set of four side chairs by Jacob and Josef Kohn is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. We will ship these lovely pieces of furniture in a custom made wooden crate for safe transport when purchased by overseas buyers!
