About the Item

A pair of 19th century Swedish Gustavian chairs from Lindome Halland, Southern Sweden. A Very nice and decorative Chair model with a cut lily in the back of the chair. Nicely cut decor around the chair seat & reeded legs. The chairseat is original with saddle straps & upholstered with horse harness. The chairs is upholstered in a classic contemporary fabric. The chairs have been scraped to their original color. A chair leg has a small wooden repair at the bottom, see picture. Small traces of wormdamage, see picture The chairs are well suited as a decorative side chairs to be used every now and then & not every day. Made in painted pine.
