About the Item

A pair of Chinese Ming dynasty style yoke back side chairs from the early 20th century with woven rattan seats, curving back splats and natural wood patina. Created in China during the early years of the 20th century, each of this pair of side chairs features an open back with curving splat, resting on a woven rattan seat with wooden frame. The chairs are raised on straight legs connected to one another through side stretchers of varying heights, accented with carved spandrels in the front. With their elegant lines and nice patina, this pair of Ming dynasty style side chairs will bring a touch of simple elegance to any home, perhaps placed in a foyer, living room, bedroom or office.
