We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of original circa 1810-1820 Regency hand painted side chairs with period woven seats A very good looking well made and decorative pair of chairs. In truth, they rarely come up for sale in pairs, they usually turn up as singles and are rare survivors. This set has all the original paint and looks SUBLIME from every angle, they just scream English country house originality! Condition wise is period correct, there are age and use related patina marks all over as you would expect, they are just over 200 years old after all Dimensions Height:- 87cm Width:- 46.5cm Depth:- 43cm Seat height:- 45cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
