Rod-Back Windsor Side Chair

About the Item

Rod-back windsor side chair with a square-shape back. Carved and turned faux-bamboo stiles, splayed legs and stretchers in ash. Shaped seat in elm. Remnants of dark brown paint. Sturdy, no wobble. Joints tightened. Dates from early-to-Mid-19th Century. Note: Regional differences in humidity and climate during shipping may cause antique and vintage wood to shrink and/or split along its grain, veneer to loosen and/or peel, and painted finishes and gilt to crack and flake.
