Pair of Rococo Swedish Side Chairs

About the Item

Pair of Swedish rococo period chairs, hand-carved circa 1750-1789. Finish gently scraped back to original and early layers of paint in shades of red. Sold together and priced $2,900 for the pair. Note: Abrupt transitions in climate and humidity during shipping may cause antique and vintage wood to gain or lose moisture. Resulting in potential wood shrinkage and/or spliting along the wood's grain. Veneer may also loosen and/or peel, and painted finishes and gilt may crack and flake.
