Swedish Set of Six Vintage Side Chairs w/ Pierce-Carved Back Splats

About the Item

A Swedish set of six carved-wood side side chairs, with upholstered seats, circa 1960's. This set of vintage chairs from Sweden each feature gracefully round chair backs with pierce-carved splat backrests, molded trim aprons with rounded front corners, with flower heads carved at the knees, and raised on rounded legs that terminate into toupie style feet. H-style spindle stretchers add further support to the chairs, attaching just above their feet. The seat cushions are upholstered in an older striped fabric, which has some staining, but is in usable condition. These Swedish side chairs will be a great set used around a breakfast or smaller dining table.
