De Sede - DS-11 modular, sectional Sofa in thick Neck leather, Switzerland, manufactured in the 1970s.
This high quality sectional sofa, designed by De Sede in the 1970s, consists of 6 elements - 1x connecting corner element and 2 end-corner elements plus 3 straight elements, which allow you to assemble this sofa according to your own wishes. This set is very versatile, it allows you to create different compositions.
Designed to offer maximum comfort thanks to the thick seat cushions and the very large seat.
Heavy wooden frame construction, very thick but soft neck leather with slightly indicated seat hollow and visible saddler's stitching.
Dimensions of a straight module: 65cm high, 62cm wide, 85cm deep.
Dimensions of a corner module: 65cm high, 85cm wide and 85cm deep.
Normal signs of wear and signs of time, minor scratches - overall in a beautiful vintage original condition commensurate with its age.

Also known as the Non Stop sofa, it is a sensually curved, snaking modular sofa whose individual pieces can be zipped together to create multiple variations and arcs.
De Sede has collaborated with some of the world's finest design minds, enhancing the prestige and individuality of their products. Designers like Santiago Calatrava, Antonella Scarpitta, Stephan Hürlemann, Gordon Guillaumier and Philippe Malouin have all created pieces with the atelier. Ubald Klug’s 1974 DS-1025, also known as the Terrazza sofa, is an enduring favorite with its cascading levels of leather. In 2017, de Sede expanded its product line to include high-quality leather handbags, which are as thoughtfully designed and beautifully crafted as its furniture. De Sede AG is now part of the Volare Group AG and continues to handcraft its fine furniture and other goods from its factory in Klingnau.
