About the Item
Siting regal and refined, this English settee from circa 1920 is a fantastic size for nearly any room around the home. The seat back is tall and supportive, plush from the striated velvet upholstery, in a luminous champagne color. Finishing off the seat back and each curl of an arm, between a corded trim, is a flirtatious little tassel! The seat fabric and suspension is intact, condition as expected for the age. A nailhead trim along the bottom edge would suggest there had been a dust skirt at one time, now lost, but revealing the slender, carved legs.
