On offer on this occasion is a superb, pristine George Smith Signature "Standard-Arm" Medium Armchair, dressed in their peerless, elegant, highly-seductive and sensationally-tactile Mohair-Velvet in Berry. As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this listing, George Smith pieces are the epitome of classic English furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard. This piece is in superb, impeccably-maintained condition and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its fine order reflects the TLC and remarkably-infrequent use afforded it in the past and, aside from the odd, light, barely-visible mark to the fabric (as you would expect from a mohair velvet such as this, where the pile gets compressed and looks lighter/darker in isolated spots) and frame, is as impressive and gorgeous in every regard as is possible to conceive.
