About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely handmade in England Art Deco style two-seat sofa which is part of a suite This is a very good looking well made and comfortable piece, the cushions are all lightly fibre filled so they seat well, you have two scatter cushions and two bluster long cushions The frame is solid light mahogany, its very light weight and strong, the legs are elegant hand-turned, they are solid to the frame, not the cheaper screw ins, they are finished with brass castors The timber has been cleaned waxed and polished, the upholstery has nothing negative to note really, it looks perfect to me, there may be the odd bit of fade on one of the cushions but they are fully upholstered on both sides so you can just flip it over, honestly the piece looks perfect Dimensions: Height 82cm, seat height 52.5cm Width 167.5cm Depth 87cm frame only plus 6cm for the cushion overhang This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
