About the Item
Curvy and eye-catching curved Danish sofa from around 1950. Set on carved and curved beech legs and with a low scalloped backrest giving it a very elegant cool look. This design was often found in an affluent person's formal living room which saw use only on formal occasions. The result is that the sofa has never taken much use and the mohair fabric remains in usable condition. The sofa is a really generous size from a period when sofas were generally a lot smaller than today. It can be reupholstered with a scalloped back or smooth with buttons - the diamond pattern while beautiful may no longer be the flavor of the month. Overall very good condition. We are able to offer re-upholstery services for this sofa at a very competitive price.
