Late 19th Century French Country Long Sofa/Settee With Carved Arms, Legs & Back
About the Item
This is a lovely settee with carved dark wood framing the pale beige velvet upholstery and down cushions. Although the upholstery is warm and comfy, it is not in perfect shape, it has creases, stains from furniture stain and a small tear. Someone who is better at restoring fabric may be able to save this but I think this lovely sofa needs to be recovered.
The measurement to the where the arms turn out is 76 inches, the highest point is 37 inches and the depth is 30 inches. The seat is 24 inches deep, 66 inches wide, it is 13 inches high without the cushion and 18 inches with the cushion. The seat back is 26 inches without the cushion and 22 inches with the cushion
