Vintage Mid-Century Modern Design model S12 3 seat Sofa by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform, Belgium 1958. All original, untouched fabric and vintage condition. Comes all complete with all 5 brass feet supports. Beautifull original dark pink / light red fabric. A beauty for the purist vintage design lovers. Measures: 202cm x 82cm x 80cm. The sofa can be used as an all original design piece, or can be reupholstered for daily use, this will be up to you as buyer. You can use it as it is, but you will feel that the filling of the sofa has deteriorated over time and this makes the comfort lesser.
These models were made by Alfred Hendricks for the World Expo of 1958 in Brussels, Belgium.
Alfred Hendrickx is one of the most influetial belgian designers from the mid century 1950's - 1960's period. He mainly worked for Belform, a furniture maker based in Mechelen, Belgium.
