Three Piece Set of Art Deco Split Reed Wicker Seating Sofa Two Lounge Chairs
About the Item
Incredible set of Art Deco period split reed wicker furniture, by the Niagara Reedcraft Company, circa late 1920's- 1930's. The set includes a sofa, and two large lounge chairs ( table listed separately ). All pieces are in very good, ready to use condition, showing only light signs of age and use. The mans chair still has its original fabric intact ( shows wear ) , the sofa and ladies chair, have later but not new, fabric upholstery.
Included and almost never seen, are the original metal ashtray inserts, these appear to be missing a mechanism that would raise and lower the dome cap, allowing the butts etc. to fall into the lower part of the ashtray.
We have had the opportunity to offer many pieces of split reed and wicker furniture, this is the nicest and most complete set we have seen.

Mans Chair: Total H 32.5" x Arm H 24" x Seat H 17" x W 39" x D 34"
Ladies Chair: Total H 33.5" x Arm H 22.5" x Seat H 17" x W 32.5" x D 29"
Seat cushions show signs of age including fading and minor stains etc.
Please note the group photos are a bit overexposed, hence the faded look - the correct colors and patina are more evident in the detail images.
