Giltwood Bench or Window Seat in Louis XV Style
About the Item
Large Louis Xv style carved giltwood bench or window seat ( tabouret ). Finished in the surround (all 4 of the sides ) with a central stretcher for stability. The gilt distressed finish nicely worn with red bole showing. Typical grime with age and use wear. Upholstery is within last 10 years, in fair condition. No rips or tears but both arms have light fading and soiling from sun and use (hard to photograph but pics are provided ). The seat cushion is reversible but one side having dime size stain.

Age and use general wear, rubbing and oxidation to gilding. Dirt, grime.
