Italian 19th Century Louis XV St. Patinated and Giltwood Stools

About the Item

A charming pair of Italian 19th century Louis XV st. patinated and giltwood stools. Each square stool is raised by elegant patinated cabriole legs with fine giltwood acanthus leaf feet and most decorative scrolled foliate corner carvings. The arbalest shaped frieze displays scrolled designs and a central carved seashell reserve. The stools are upholstered, with possibly, their original red velvet fabric. With all original gilt and finish throughout.
