This well balanced and geometric Mid-Century Modernist Stool W/Octagonal Polished Brass Base in Holly Hunt Boucle originates from the United States, Circa 1970. Features a rounded cylindrical seat upholstered in a sumptuous and beautifully textured off white Holly Hunt Boucle Fabric from the Great Plains Series. The seat is supported by an octagonal base in polished brass with four banded supports rising from the center of alternating edges of the octagonal base. This piece has an excellent contrast of materials and forms between the polished brass base and the upholstered seat, creating a highly versatile and well scaled piece, ideal for daily use or as an accent piece. This stool will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. This piece is in Mint-Restored Condition.
