19th Century English Fruitwood Windsor Chair, Fiddleback Splat

About the Item

A classic fruitwood Windsor chair, hand-carved and refined. The fiddleback splat echoes the curves of a violin, typical of the Queen Anne style, although this piece is mid 19th Century, so later. Great color and patina, reflecting its use. Turned supports under the seat are charming.
