Large 19th Century Gateleg/Sofa Table in English Oak

About the Item

A dropleaf table in rich English oak, to be tucked away or used as an elegant sofa table. It opens to a large oval which can seat 6 when the legs are opened all the way, or 8 when opened on the diagonal. (See images 4 and 5). The turned legs lend an interesting design note. The knuckle is in very good condition, pictured in the final thumbnail. The top has been lightly refinished for a clean look. Dimensions when closed are 68.5″ long x 17″ deep X 30″ high.
