Early 19th Century Wheelback Windsor Chair

About the Item

A handsome early 19th century oak wheelback windsor chair. Hand-crafted circa 1810 this attractive chair has a hooped back with a wonderful, pierced wheelback over a well figured seat and elegant turned legs united by a crinoline stretcher. This chair retains a beautiful color and patina and has clearly been much loved through the years. In superb condition this chair is comfortable with a seat height of 17 ¼”.
