18th Century Swiss Coffer Side Table

About the Item

An 18th Century Swiss coffer, or safe, made of solid walnut with hinged top that opens to a deep storage bin. Iron handles on the sides and large hand-forged hinges. Lock in working condition with new key. Pegged construction. Beautiful character to the wood with waxed patina. Restoration on the legs. Perfect for use as a side table or nightstand.
