Remarkable early 19th century three-panel hand-carved solid oak European coffer or blanket storage trunk. Item features a solid carved oakwood frame with exposed dowel or wooden pin joined construction. The front features three hand-carved panels as well as paneled sides and lid. The wood has achieved a wonderful and desirable patina throughout the years.
