Frame: Solid wood covered with cloth/leather material.
Reinforcements: Wrought Iron and Leather edges and bands, secured with hundreds of original studs.
Hardware: Hinges, latches (including the 4 side clips) and central lock with a beautiful gold-plated Brass/Metal medallion (key not included, as is often the case with these pieces).
Condition: Has the beautiful patina of time, with signs of wear and surface rust attesting to its originality and long past.
