About the Item

English Regency Style Mahogany Waterfall Bookcase. A fine Edwardian bookcase in the Regency style. A rich mahogany case on small tapered legs set on brass casters. The front and top edges banded with a fine rosewood cross banding and line inlays. All intact and having elegant fine details. The shelves are let into the side boards for strength and the banding and inlays decorate the front edge of the shelves. The horizontal shelves join the banded vertical sides with a tapered mitre. Beautifully and strongly made. The book shelves graduate in size from top to bottom, (approx. 5.5" , 7.5". 8.5", 9.5" top to bottom).
